Berimbah Aboriginal Corporation exists to serve and empower our members, Aboriginal people living in the Clarence Valley, through strong cultural foundations, economic opportunity, and community leadership.

Our work is guided by five key objectives that reflect our vision of a vibrant, self-determined future for our people:

1. Cultural Continuation & Connection to Country
   To strengthen the continuation of Aboriginal culture, language, and connection to Country, fostering a deep sense of identity, belonging, and holistic well-being for Aboriginal communities across the Clarence Valley.

2. Careers & Professional Development
   To create real career pathways and support professional development for Aboriginal people, empowering individuals to thrive in a wide range of professions while staying grounded in culture and community.

3. Economic Development & Enterprise
   To drive Aboriginal economic growth by advocating for investment, establishing an economic development hub, and supporting the creation and growth of Aboriginal-owned businesses, with a strong focus on mentoring young people into enterprise and leadership.

4. Strong Governance & Community Leadership
   To ensure Berimbah is led by and for the community through strong, transparent governance and inclusive representation, building leadership that reflects the voices, values, and vision of our people.

5. Goal 5: Community Collaboration & Partnerships
   To build strong, respectful partnerships with community members, organisations, and stakeholders that align with our values and support our vision. We will prioritise collaboration that uplifts Aboriginal voices, strengthens local capacity, and creates shared opportunities.
