Bunyarabugalma – To Make Well, To Make Healthy
Reconnect with culture, Country and yourself through Bunyarabugalma, a beautiful Aboriginal-designed wellbeing experience delivered by Aunty Deidre Currie and Yaimee Currie.
Dreamtime Movements brings together gentle movement, therapeutic breathing, mindfulness and Bundjalung language to support wellbeing, connection and healing. Inspired by traditional dance movements, animals and Country, this practice draws on the longstanding connections between movement, culture and wellbeing within First Nations communities.
Developed through the Kids Caring for Country and Guyahyn Aboriginal Early Childhood Project, Bunyarabugalma was created to support healing, strengthen connections to language, Country and culture, and nurture the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.
Whether you're looking to slow down, find a moment of calm, reconnect with culture or simply try something new, this welcoming workshop is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. No previous experience is needed.
Come as you are, take a breath, move gently and share in a space for connection, reflection and wellbeing.
Join us during Aboriginal Languages Week 2026 to celebrate the strength of living languages and the important role culture plays in keeping our communities strong, healthy and connected.
